What can I take for a simple headache without hurting baby?

  • Tylenol ask your doc for a list a safe meds during pregnancy it saves phone call to the doc and gets the relief you need with out wanting. Nice way to be helpful anons are you always that rude or is it that time of the month.

  • As previous posters have said, Tylenol is considered to be safe during pregnancy. Obviously, moderation is key here. If you have an extra 10 or 15 minutes and you can find a quiet, darkened room to lie down in, deep breathing exercises work well for headaches (for me, anyway). You can also try to manipulate the pressure point in between your thumb and forefinger. Hold your hand out in front of you and turn your thumb out so it makes a 90 degree angle (aka the "loser" symbol). With your thumb and forefinger of the other hand, pinch the webbing of your "L" hand at the 45 degree mark (halfway in between thumb and forefinger). Hold that for 30 seconds to a minute, release, and do it again. This should help your headache after a mintue or two. Good luck mama!
