  • Usually you should wait till they are 12 months. When i started my kids, I did mix 1/2 formula and 1/2 milk to get them used to it.

  • I started my nephew at about 9 months. I started with 1/4 milk, 3/4 formula for like a week and then went to half half, etc. etc. By the time he was 10 months he was on whole milk completely. I would reccomend consulting your pedi first, if you are going to switch before a year.

  • talk to your doc. the AAP & WHO say don't start milk until 12 months.

  • I had to start my daughter around 5 months or so, the formula was not sitting well with her...and we tried all different kinds. She is now a happy, healthy almost 2 year go ahead. IMO

  • I had my 1st child on whole milk when he was 8mths old and he's as healthy as a horse! To each their own. My almost 10mth old id still on formula. Every baby is different.
