what can I do to help my two year old with her cough and runny nose?

  • It all depends on the reason she is coughing and has a runny nose. My son for instance has terrible allergies so his Dr. perscribed Zyrtec and Singulair, and we have a nebulizer. Sometimes I have to use a saline solution and help dry that stuff up. I have also made sure my son is comfortable with the bulb syringe (booger sucker) so its not hard for me to suck that stuff out. Just remember to get that stuff out because its what causes the coughing then you wont have to depend on cough meds etc.

  • We used Hylands cough syrup. It is for infants up to adults, its a homeopathic remedy that works. It tamed Olivia's horrid cough she had when she was about 7 months old.
