Is 6 months old too young to do a "mommy and me"?

  • Depends on the class! My city offers music "mommy and me" classes for 6 months and up. Another organization has a variety of classes including baby massage and baby sign language.

    If the class is geared towards infants instead of toddlers, you'll be fine. For example - we have a mommy & me gym class and an art class - 6 months old is too young for those.

  • No not at all. I work at a YMCA in Indiana and 6 months old is the YOUNGEST we allow women to sign up for the Mommy and Me Swimming class. You're never too old for time with Mommy!
