yes, my sis lived in oak grove. There is a neighborhood of 3 bedroom houses there which is only minutes from the base which is where she lived. They're all pretty much the same like a subdivision, except there are no sidewalks, so younger kids playing outside must be closely monitered. There is a posted speed limit, but.........
Oak Grove itself is tiny, and when I visited we'd go into Tennessee about 10 miles up the road to do grocery shopping since there are more stores. The base is right on the border, so you don't realize when you're in Tenn. or Kent. really. People do not follow the speed limit on that highway, they drive fast & don't care who they run down. Anyway, Kroger was our favorite store there. They do have Piggly Wiggly (yes that is a real name) but its small. The base has lots of stores, even its own mall, so that's kinda neat. Clarksville is nicer etc. but way farther away.People there are not friendly!
