  • We go to carowinds, once with the kids and once just me and him. We also like to go to the water parks.

  • We love to go 'tanking' down the river. It is such a good time and very cheap.

  • We live in Washington State, so some of our favorite things to do in the summer are taking a trip to Seattle where we spend the day at Pikes Market, and we snack on fresh fruits, juices, and cheesecake while we are there and always go home with a nice bouquet of fresh flowers for the house. Also in Seattle we enjoy the Pacific Science Center for the kids. Another nice day trip is going to Mt Rainier, the scenery is so beautiful up there and we take a nice picnic and make a day out of it. Camping is another family favorite on a beautiful summer weekend. If cost were no matter, we would drive home to Texas to visit family for the summer (We did this last summer, and it cost just a bit over $1000 but we stayed with family for the whole month we were there so we just paid for groceries, gas, and of course hotels on the 6 days we spent driving!

  • Michigans Bech towns are great in the summer. I would go houseboating in Kentucky if I could afford it. Wisconsin Dells was great, I have always wanted to see Mt.Rushmore
