  • My son started helping me clean up his play room @ 18 months old. If you make it into a game/ something FUN then I'm sure she'll want to help you. Smile a lot call her name make it intereting. With my son we count his cars as we put them away, we go thru his ABC's as we put toys away with that letter like A for Aiplane, B for Ball, C for Car, etc. He loves it. Now that he's over 2 years old he enjoys cleaning up by himself. I think it makes him feel like a Big Boy =o)

  • Sorry, no tips, my sons 13 months and I just say lets put the toys away and he gets going. I just smile, tell him he's doing a good job, like he feels like a big boy

  • Sing a clean up song and make it a game with her. You can also give a sticker or soemthing if the toys get picked up

  • i just make it into a game. or if he doesn't want to cooperate with that i tell him something like "clean up your toys first then we can go play outside". it works like a charm. he even helps me with housework. he got his own little vacuum for xmas so whenever i pull out the vacuum he helps me (and his vacuum actually works!) so its a plus.
