  • Spreading the Wealth Around to me means
100 million or more dead people due to Stalin and Mao
Thousands starving to death, not just hungry, in North Korea
and Thousands of Cubans on rubber rafts willing to risk life and limb to sharks

  • Like a modern day Robin Hood. Only he took from the king's coffers and gave to the poor and in this day and age it is the rich expected to give their hard earned money.

  • heatherama,

You do realize that "spread the wealth around" was an Obama mantra during his recent presidential campaign, didn't belong to McCain...............

Oh, boy, we're on to something here............

But I do agree that Obama is a failure.

  • It means I get lots of money now that I'm poor? If me personally it means my dh works his a$$ off 12-15 hours per day, seven days a week and then forks over a crap load of money so that other people don't have to work. I'm all for giving a hand up, but I seriously don't need the government taking more and more from those of us who are just trying to improve our lives.

On a broader scale...I'll have to go with what both akinbottom and lovinangels said. That sums it up pretty well.
