  • My baby had her first cold about a month ago....this is what we did and it helped A LOT!
baby vicks on feet and chest then PJs on. take in the bathroom with hot shower for steam. Menthol baths 2 times a day(morn and nite). a cool mist humidifier, tylenol if fever and suck the nose a lot and saline drops in sucks but good luck! it lasted about a week.

  • OTC meds have not been proven effective in childen under 6, so I wouldn't advise giving her anything like that.

The only thing you can do is to keep her hydrated and comfortable, really.

  • LEFT THEM SUFFER... hahaha im just kidding... if he/she has a really bad stuffy nose... give baby its called LITTLE NOSES.... its a nose spray that will push everything out... when i have a shower take baby in the bathroom with u so baby can breath the steem... help with the mose... also... but vix vapor stuff on babys feet... NOT THE CHEST... it will be to strong... unless u have the kids one... after puttin it on his feet put sox on...

  • Sorry its alot to wright...

dont let baby lay flat... its ok to ut baby in the car seat for a few night.. or even the bounser... anything to keep baby head up... this will also help with the nose... if baby has a fever...depends on the temp... f not too high they can sweat it out... if it is very high... and can wait for the doc or er... ice pac and feez a damp wash cloth... let me know if u have anymore questions... i have a 3 yr old and a 2 month old... but i rasd my nefews from 2weeks till 6 years... so... i can help the best as i can...

  • Irrigate the nose w/saline drops (you can suction it out or not... it will come out either way, the important part is loosening it. And the humidifier. No meds unless it's tylenol for a fever they already have.
