Does anyone think that they gave up their sex kitten status to become a mom?

I recently read an article that a man wrote cuz he was mad that his wife gave up her looks to have a child. Personally I don't think that you have to become a "frump" just to have kids, and I really don't want that perception out there. We are our own women, not mens playtoys for christ sakes!

  • I still felt quite sexy after my first two children but with this pregnancy I was put on a medication that made me gain weight, a lot of weight! now I feel frumpy and old and soooo much like a looser! I don't think it is about being a mom though. Men who think a mom can't be sexy are stupid, and we don't want anything to do with them anyway!

  • well, ive been pregnant or breastfeeding since before i could legally drink, and i gotta say, the physical aspect of pregnancy and feeding someone with your boobs makes it difficult enough for me! but on top of that, i find myself so wiped out i think "i could put on more makeup than just concealer and mascara, i could wear something besides leggings and a sweater...or i could just SIT and enjoy resting!" i can summon my inner minx, if pushed, but my public carriage and overall appearance has certainly been toned down.
