Stupid question but noone here knows and I need to get this done

How am I supposed to properly address the envelopes for my wedding invitations? should it be like --The so and so Family or Mr and Mrs so and so and family
Help I am so dang confused!!!

  • I believe either is fine. I can't remember the last time I looked at the way the bride had written out an invite and thought that is just poor etiquette! LOL don't worry so much. . . This day will come and go so quick you'll wish you'd enjoyed it more.

  • you could use their last name..... Like To the smith family, or you could use to Mr and Mrs allen brady.... either will work.

  • We put To: Mr. and Mrs. so and so if no children and if they had children we added and family.
    From: Mr. and Mrs. so and so

  • For my wedding invites I did 'The so and so family' for couples with kids and just 'Mr. and Mrs. for the couples without.

  • the to person space should say
    Mr. & Mrs. So - so
    thenthe address
    everything is supposed to be formal so it is all Mr. and Mrs.

  • look up wedding tips and ediquette... i saw something for this... i know it def says about not abbreviating anything except mr. and mrs. and to spell out street and house numbers
