my daughter is 9 yrs old.she is gaining weight hand over fist.i watch everything that goes in her mouth(for the most part)i make her lunch so she doesnt eat it at school.and we just have a regular dinner.i am wondering if i should cut her carbs.i am thinking maybe she is to small for this.i dont know.i cant have her going on the same track..any suggestions

  • Are you sure she isn't pigging out behind your back? Does she eat fruits and veggies? Snacking on chips or anything? I wouldn't just cut carbs unless she is eating way too many..make sure she is getting plenty of exercise..go for a family bike ride or walk after dinner. Have fruit for snacks and make it a family thing. Don't single her out and make her feel like she is on a diet.
