How much does your baby sleep?

My son is almost four months old and last night he slept for about 12 hours, and after only being up for 2 hours was fussing and took a nap, and he usually takes about 3 naps a day. Is this normal?

  • My son just turned four months. He averages about ten hours of sleep per night then when he wakes up he eats and sleeps for about an thirty minutes to an hour after every feeding. So he takes about four naps throughout the day.

  • Yeah, this is normal. It sounds like you have a easy baby. Mine did that at that age and still does sleep through the night., although her naps have gotten shorter.

  • It is fine. My son slept 12 hrs every day and took 3 naps starting at 4 months. Be thankful because not all babies do that, including my dtr who is 6 months! :)
