  • Sure, why not?

If you're sleeping outdoors wear earplugs.

  • They can just like other small insects. People have roaches removed from their ear canal all the time, sick I know but true.

  • Oh I did once. Took 2 weeks for it to come out. Doc just gave me oily stuff to put in my ear to help it out.

  • Ayuh! And I heard they can lay their eggs in there, too. When the ant leaves the eggs stay in and when the eggs hatch the new ants crawl all over, in and out of your ear.
That's the story that went around summer camp when I was a kid, anyway. :)
