What do you do about....

diarrea?? My 9mos old has diarrea for the first time should I just give him some pedialyte? any suggestions?

  • The sugar in pedialyte, gatorade and juice will make diarrhea worse. If he's eating food, bulk him up with carbs and starches. If not, stick to just his formula or breastmilk.

    Keep an eye on him. If he starts to look dehydrated, have him seen...his eyes should be moist as should the inside of his mouth.

  • florastor kids - it's OTC. double check with pharmacists if 9 months is OK. I think it is.
