  • what to expect when your're expecting and what to expect the first year REALLY helped me. so much Ive ever bought what to expect the toddler years. also my WIC lactation consultant helped out alot.

  • The Nursing Mother's Companion, or The Breatfeeding Book...

    I personally don't care much for the What To Expect books...they address everything as a problem, and can cause unnecessary paranoia. :)

    ...and I'd avoide the "What to expect..." books.  A LOT of outdated info.

  • Anything my doctore william Sears he is amazing Love of all his book and his wife is a nurse with like 12 kids something like that but its alot. So they have experience and the knowlege. So The Breastfeeding book by Doctor William Sears or anybook for the LLC La Le leche leauge...

    I second avoiding WTE books, they say to wean at 9 months and to expect yoru child to wean under 12 months...bad info

  • I agree with the Womanly Art of Breastfeeding and WHat they are there for. The what to expect books are terrible. I wouldn't take any of the advice in them.
