If you do not confirm your paypal e mail address is it true that your purchases will not go through?

  • usually yes, but that depends on what and where you are purchasing. or are you just signing up? PayPal is a legitimate company. Paranoia is not warranted when making a purchase, just enter your credit card # into your paypal account and if anything goes wrong you just call your credit card company and they will give you your money back. No one sees your credit card number it's all encoded.

  • No, not necessarily, but some sellers won't ship to unconfirmed addresses because paypal doesn't cover them under their protection plan if they didn't ship to a confirmed address. So its just better to be confirmed so that the seller won't have any issues with shipping to you.

  • Ok wait...I misunderstood. YOu said EMAIL and not MAIL....sorry, I just read it wrong. Yes you have to confirm your email because its part of your pay pal log in ID. Thats a big yes.
