What do you think of my biz idea?

I'd like to make little girl's hairbows, and hairbow holders, maybe later branch out from there.

How do I make sure I am not stealing someone else's name? How do I go about it all legally, and how do I put my bows in local stores? Would you buy hairbows for your daughter?

  • How do you make sure you are not stealing someone else's name and how do you go about it legally? -- talk to a lawyer about getting a trademark. It shouldn't cost you more than $250. But if you are talking about a name like "Danielle's Hairbows" I don't think you need a trademark.

How do you put your bows in local stores? You need a business plan! You might work with a student at a local business school. They could help you as part of an assignment or a project.

Would I buy hairbows for my daughter? Absolutely!
