can u drink whine when ur pregnant ?

im 20 weeks pregnant n will be 21 weeks tomorrow...and wondering if drinking whine will harm the baby ??

  • i dont suggest it but some doctors say a glass a week is ok. Why every put your baby in possible harm? Its up to you though...you should ask your obgyn

  • You can have a glass, but check with your ob. I mean a glass is about 4 oz. I wouldn't reccomend doing it all the time though. I had a few sips of champagne for new years while I was pregnant and it didn't do any harm to my child.

  • after your first 12 weeks your allowed to have just one glass every 2 weeks. i believe its just red wine though.

  • My doctor and many other doctors I know allow 1 glass a week and mine let me have a glass of champagne on New Years Eve. Talk to your doctor and see what he/she says.

  • some drs say its ok mine says absolutly none. There is no way of knowing how much alcohol can actually harm baby they dont know. I wouldnt chance it after all its just 40wks out of your life where you cant drink no big deal.
