What color compliments red at a wedding?

My girlfriend has a white dress with a red sash, and I am trying to help her come up with a secondary color. With the way it is going, I am sort of the wedding planner lol Any help would be great!

  • Like the brides maids wear black?? Or black with the red flowers? It will be an early fall wedding, what about a burnt orange or a dark purple???

  • I never liked red with purple. I have seen weddings where the bridemaids did where black with red flowers. Very beautiful indeed.

  • Thanks anon! I just know I personally do not want to wear a red dress!! I am the maid of honor and have red red hair... red dress would be horrible (Look I am making it about me lol)

What about daisy's with the red and black dresses?? So many ideas lol Her wedding is Aug 22, so not much time
