  • No, but my DH has been asked when he took our younger DD to the store because he is dark complected and my girls are very light complected like me. We are both Hispanic, but very different in skin color.

  • I've only been told that my son is deffinatly not white. Yeah well his name (Juan Carlos) gives it away. I have gotten some looks expecially in the summer when he gets very dark skinned.

  • My adopted son is hispanic and both my husband and I are white. People sometimes say insensitive things. Little kids will say, You're not his real mother are you? Even adults will make a point of saying he must be adopted.
