Desperately need something to help me sleep

I have always had insomnia and now I am desperate to try to maintain a sleep schedule...ok or even get ANY sleep these days. Is there a safe sleep aid for pregnant moms that would help an insomniac like me?
PS: the time stamp says 4 AM but it's only 1 AM here, still I give any more proof to my inability to sleep??

  • Here we are, I've been up since 3:30. I usually take Lunesta to get to sleep but I am out. I'm up at 3-3:30 every night this week, freaking drives me nuts too.

  • ha ha not funny but i remember these days. do you work? if not catch your zzz's during the day i honestly remember toward the end being on an opposite sleep schedule to the world and at walmart (the only 24 hour store around) most of the night

  • A calcium and magnesium supplement would help. I don't recommend tylenol pm at all, since it doesn't do anything good for you. Or just a magnesium supplement.

You could also try homeopathics, such as calm's forte.

A warm bath before bed is also a very good idea! :)
