My 6 months old's ear is bothering her. It wakes her up at night. We saw the dr for a well checkup yesterday and he just said to keep an eye on it. What can I do to help her not be in pain?

  • sweet oil. You can buy it at any drug store but it is just regular old olive oil, not sure why they call it sweet oil. Warm some up (not too much!) and put a few drops in each ear. Even better would be to simmer some fresh garlic in the olive oil and then drop the oil in her ear after it has cooled. The garlic will kill the bacteria. here is one instruction I found:
You can also buy garlic oil at a health food store.
