Do you remember what was the name of the first vaccine and when was given to your baby?

My son was given 2 month after birth
two shots Diphtheria, Tetanus, Pertussis AND Polio

  • For those answering it would be nice to know children's ages. Things have changed in the last 10 years and are still evolving with what is recommended.

    My son got Hep B at 4 months old because I chose to delay and selectively vax him, but after a bad reaction to the DTap at 12 months he has had no more and my daugther has had none.

  • The hep B was NOT given in the hospital, actually it was given 4 months after birth.

  • umm no MY son got a hep b shot in the hospital I have his shot record right here and on top of that I distinctly remember them coming into my room while I was in labor asking me to sign a waiver saying that he could get his first dose of the hep b vaccine because they did it over three doses. So yes the hep b shot WAS given in the hospital and again at 2 mo. and the last time at 6 mo. and btw the question was "Do you remember what was the name of the first vaccine and when was given to your baby" not "how can you be the biggest most ignorant jerk possible".

  • My youngest hasn't and won't get any. My 2 year old it was DTaP at 4 months. He got another at 6 months, that's all he's ever had.
