what could this be?

ok... My daughter had no hair in the back as a baby (she is 3). By last summer it had all grown in :) and now it seems to be falling out. it started in the back but it looks as if its working its way up. should i be worried? first I thought it was her hats, so i changed the winter hats but it only got worst since then. some co workers of mine said i should take her to the dr because it could possibly something fungal.
anyone have any idea what this may be from? i just don't want to make unnecessary trips to the dr. just for her to say it will grow back

  • It may be ring worm or alopecia (SP?)

  • its not a ring ring worm, im the only person who does her hair so i would have noticed something like that. As for alopecia, im just gonna say i hope not :(... but the hair isnt falling out so much that its bald, just really really short.

  • I don't think that any trip to the doctor is ever unnecessary. Better safe than sorry.
