Whats good to put in a 17 month olds easter basket?

DH and I agree that its easter and she can have a little bit of candy, but not alot. We also want her to have a BIG easter basket. We thought books, and art supplies would be good but we wont to throw some other stuff in there as well...what else would be good for a baby that young??

  • Stuff the plastic eggs with stickers, fruit snacks, etc and make a trail from her room to where the basket is. My son loved following the trail and finding what was at the end. In the big basket you can put a really pretty easter dress, a stuffed animal, bath tub toys, color wonders, books, or a baby doll...whatever she's in to, then whatever candy you decide on.

  • they also make cute little eggs that have sesame street toys, wonder pets toys, etc. in them, and a little tube with little people characters dressed in easter stuff (all at walmart). i got mine a few of those, bubbles, sidewalk chalk, sippy cup...i'm also going to put goldfish and chex mix in the little plastic eggs and let them go around the yard collecting them like an easter egg hunt.
