  • They are greedy and don't really give a shit about your health. All they care about is making money.

  • pre-existing clauses, and the fact that insurance companies spend millions on people who do nothing but go over people's claims looking for any hint of something pre-existing to deny coverage.

  • Price. We only have insurance for our child because we can't afford it for the whole family.

  • As if the government will actually care about our health? We should have the right to pick freely what insurance company we of the few things I agreed w/ McCain on. You better believe they'd do their best to get and keep your business.

  • insurance companies are run by greedy bastards. it doesn't matter if you pay 300 a month for the last 5 yrs once you get that big thing that needs to be done your screwed. Insurance companies are murderers and rapists of wallets.

  • Just think about this for a minute. The government already has CHIPS for kids, Medicare, Medicaid, and the federal employees insurance. Let's say they open these up to the public with each having the same limits, restrictions, co-pays, monthly fee. With the exception of the CHIPS program which should be continued for children. Now, not everybody goes to the dr. every single month of every single year. If every person paid a monthly fee of say $25.00 for the program, that would generate MILIIONS of dollars, keep the costs down and everyone would have coverage. Do away with the companies that are robbing people blind and it would also make these programs work. They already exist and there is not much tweeking that has to be done.
