My daughter is almost 7 months. She first started with not wanting to drink her juice today. Well now she wont drink her formula either.

She started teething, i dont know if that has anything to do with it.. I just dont understand why she wont drink her bottle.

  • She probly wants some of what your drinking or like mine she has nipple preference if you recently changed to a diferent brand or nipple texture. She wouldnt drink from her bottle if it had a new or diferent nipple. or she saw i was drinking something diferent than her and she wanted it so i would put some of it in a bottle and made shur she saw me doing this and she drank it .being a mom is like being a mind reader. i hope that helps

  • maybe she has a sore throat or her ears are bothering her so it hurts to swallow? At some point she will take it when she is thirsty enough, but get her throat and ears checked to be sure.

  • could have a lot to do with teething. a lot of children will eat and drink much less when they're in pain or discomfort. if it becomes a real concern for you, just call her pediatrician.

  • Give her some Tylenol and try feeding her 1/2 hour later after it's kicked in.

  • Why are you giving a baby juice? babies need breastmilk (or formula) and water. Juice is empty calories. If she is teething, get some Hylands teething tabs. You should be able to find them at target.

  • i give her juice to help her poop. otherwise she will not poop. either way she gets enough formula anyways so oh well. She still wont drink her bottle when she accidently did she screamed, but she'll drink a little from a sippy cup that has a feeling like a nipple, just a little different. So i dont understand what it is still. She wont drink much from the sippy, but at least she's drinking a little, makes me feel a little better.
