  • Not at all, the poor thing just looked in pain for about a week, after that she slowly went back to her normal behaviour.

  • No, my dog was ready to play in a few days, but we had to keep her calm for a couple of weeks. It didn't phase her at all!

  • No, but we got our girls spayed when they were around 5 or 6 months old. They were both kind of pathetic looking the night we brought them home, but they were back to normal in about a day or two and keeping them from running and jumping was not easy.
