Has anyone traveled using Space Bags?

The ones where you vaccume out the air. We're flying to England and I'm worried they might pose a problem if security has to search our bags.

  • The transportation Safetey Admonistration has a website you can reference for packing your bags. That might tell you something.

  • the space bags that i used, roll out... they do both actually, you can roll them to get the air out, if someone needs you to open them up... and then you just take a few minutes, and roll the air out.. have a great trip..

  • We've used them when we've flown to England and never had a problem. Just make sure you only put clothing in them so nothing looks weird on the xray.

  • I have used them... but do not over pack them! They will bust and then they're useless. Also if you are using the small travel sized ones, gallon ziplock bags work just as well. Just don zip then all the way, squeeze or roll out all the air then zip the rest of the way, and they work great! (much cheaper too)
