hey ladies tell me what respect means to you not the definition, just what it means to you?

  • First word that comes to mind is faithfulness. Then caring about my feelings as well. Not lying. Doing these things show me that you respect me.

  • respect to me is something that is earned.
    To be respected is to be a good person, to hold true to your values, to treat others right, etc.
    Ex. you can be the boss of a company, but that doesn't mean your employees have to respect you. They have to follow your lead, yes. But if he/she wants respect, they have to be able to show they are caring, and responsible, and can keep the company afloat, if not better it.
