why does she gag?

my daughter has a month check up on monday so i will talk to her pedi about this, just wondering if anyone on here had their child do this ever...
like i said shes a month old now and daily she will open her mouth and GAG and make a gagging noise its not just one gag at a time, its a few at a time and like i said its pretty much a daily thing.

shell do it while shes sleeping, awake... anytime it occurs.

anyone have any similar situation with their child?
any ideasof what it may be?

she is exclusively breastfed by the way.

  • i wanna say my son did this also, he was breastfed too exclusively. I cant remember why he did it i think it was just because he was small and thats how he would ajust himself, he would yawn or have a dream of a boobie and it would trigger his reflexes. He was young about a month too but he grew out of it. of course yes talk to the doctor, she should be perfectly fine!

  • My daughter did this too and nothing was wrong with her. She is 6 months and outgrown it. Exclusively breastfeeding here too!
