  • Go get evaluated by your doctor which can refer you to seek professional mental health for further treatment.
But yes, from what you say sounds like you do.

  • Definitely.

  • That is one of the signs.

Do you also get irritable for no reason? Do you crave junk food with high sugar content? Do you have difficulty concentrating or making decisions? Do you have trouble getting motivated to get out of bed in the morning?

Go see a psychologist first. They will help you determine if you need to see a psychiatrist for medication.

Sometimes, a short stint on the meds will lift you out and you'll be fine.

    Good luck

  • Could be.

  • There is a really standard test that psychiatrists use that you can most likely find online at a Depression Resource website. I know it asks if you've felt that way for at least 2 weeks.
Anyway, even if you are depressed, you don't necessarily need medication. They can be a real burden with many side effects. You could try talk or behavioral therapy. Cognitive Behavorial Therapy has been shown to be as affective as anti-depressants. Keep your options open. There is lots of help out there.
