Mommy Remedies (or old family rememidies)

I've been sick for the past week and so has my 2 year old. I was wondering if anyone has one of those "old remedies" passed down to them?

like: chamomile tea-for a cold (to help sleep)
honey-sore throat/cough
a spicy pepper/salsa-sore throat
Vic’s on feet (with socks)-cold
putting your face over the steam of chicken soup-cold
Turmeric in hot water-sore throat
Popsicles-dehydration
Frozen fruit-teething
steaks-black eye

Ec…I’m always looking for things like that! If anyone could help me out that would be wonderful!! Thank you!!
