OUCH! I have been getting these back to back lately, but this one that I have right now is TERRIBLE! It is on the inside of my lip and i cant even talk, or swallow, without being in major pain! I was looking up remedies online and I read this:
Consult your doctor if you develop any type of mouth sore while you're pregnant -- especially before taking any type of medication (including nonprescription drugs). "
I thought it was just normal to get them while your pregnant, and nothing to call the dr. over, but after reading this, should I call?

To MissKelee --- actually canker sores and cold sores are two different things and COLD sores ARE a form of the Herpes Virus. The sores you are getting from your lip ring are probably not either unless you have had it confirmed by your doctor.
To Stacy-- better to be safe than sorry, go ahead and consult your doctor, It may be as simple as calling in and asking about that specific medicine and getting the okay. Canker sores are usually pretty harmless (painfully harmless) but its not a big deal to have it checked on anyway. Good Luck and feel better soon
