Is it okay to excercise while you're sick?

I've been working out every morning for 20-30 mins and sometimes in the afternoon too.. but I woke up this morning with the nastiest cold but don't wanna ruin my routine. I got it under control with dayquil.. should I still excercise?

  • unless you feel light headed or start feeling worse I would continue your normal routine. But make sure to drink lots of water of course. best advice I can give is listen to your body....

  • If it's from the neck up, I still exercise...If it's in my chest, I typically will wait. Stay hydrated like the other poster said.
