front teeth in pain

Lately my bottom front teeth have been really sensitive.I get a shock of pain through them when I eat/drink something hot or cold and when I breath in deeply through my mouth. Has the enamel gone completely or is it a cavity perhaps? I brush everyday and don't drink soda or caffeine anymore...did a lot before but stopped.
