  • I had one that actually cut a tooth at 3 1/2 months. I didn't know to be surprised because she was my first but my other kids were more like 7-8-9 mos. This child also lost all her teeth and had them back in by the time she was 9. First phase of ortho was done at 10 and full set of braces off at 14. Her teeth are beautiful now but it was difficult having to deal with it so quickly. My second daughter is almost 11 and she still has 5 teeth to lose before braces.

  • I have read that some babies are actually born with a tooth! So I guess it can start at any time at all! My son started drooling at two 1/2 months. He' now 7 1/2 months and he's got nothing!

  • Mine started teething at 3 1/2 mos and finally got her first tooth over the weekend--8 1/2 mos old. I have a friend who called me and told me her DD cut 2 teeth yesterday--3 1/2 mos old. It can happen at any time.

  • My oldest got her bottom 2 teeth at 4 months and her 2 top teeth at 4 months. My second is 6.5 months and has not gotten any teeth yet. I think it really varies depending on the child.

  • there really is no set age.. some babies are even born with teeth! most babies have syptoms long befire they get teeth my son had sytpoms at about4 months but didnt cut any teeth til 8 months and then got 4 at once, but each aby is different.. if you think she is teething it cant hurt to treat her and keep her comfy
