How much would you spend for these things on Craigslist?

My mother and I are doing some spring cleaning and we want to get rid of some things. So we have considered selling them on Craigslist. I just want to get an idea as to around how much people would be willing to spend on the following items:
1. Wedding dress from 1987 (old but in great condition--only worn once)
2. Formal/Prom dress (only worn once)
3. Formal/Bridesmaid dress (only worn once)
4. Newborn--0-3 babies onsies
5. Bassinet (used but in good condition)
6. Books (a complete series and individuals)
7. Coffee maker
8. Unopened body lotions
9. Unopened basket of assorted body lotions, scented candles, soaps etc

  • Dresses $25-50 since new dresses at David's Bridal can be less than $100 Onesies 25-50 cents ea Bassinet $5-10 Books Varies by condition 25 cents to $3 ea. Coffee maker $3-5...$10+ if in GREAT condition body lotions $1-2 ea. gift basket 50 cents to $1 or EACH item in basket)

I run yard sales frequently, and the above prices are what I've been offered or sold same or similar items for. Craigslist is just an online yard sale.

  • 1. Wedding dress - nothing.. I'm married and wanted a new dress for my wedding
    2. Formal/Prom dress (only worn once) - if I liked it, and had tried it on, maybe $20
    3. Formal/Bridesmaid dress (only worn once) - same as #2
    4. Newborn-babies onesies - nothing, I get these from my local Freecycle group. I might pay $1 for 5 baby boy onesies if I knew they were 100% stain free
    5. Bassinet (used but in good condition) - nothing (I don't need one)
    6. Books (a complete series and individuals) - maybe $1 per book, if I really wanted it
    7. Coffee maker - I don't drink coffee
    8. Unopened body lotions - hmm... I usually buy lotion at the dollar store, so it'd have to be really cheap to make it worth craiglisting
    9. Unopened basket of assorted body lotions, scented candles, soaps etc - $3 maybe

Sorry I'm not more help. If you don't have luck with craiglist, try joining your local Freecycle group at freecycle.org and give stuff away free.

  • As little as I possibly can. Seriously if it's not as cheap as or cheaper than a thrift store/consignment store SALE or CLEARANCE price or a cheap garage sale, then I'm not interested.

For things that aren't clothing, I won't pay more than 25% of regular retail...usually less.
