Can you take amoxicillin while breastfeeding?

I have a sinus infection and the dr. gave me a scrip for amoxicillin. My son is two and only nurses maybe once a day but still is that ok? I told her and she said it fine but I was a little unsure of her and want to be sure before I start taking it. Thanx God Bless!

  • if your dr still gave it to you knowing you are breastfeeding then yes its safe. besides the fact that its not going to hurt your child after all thats what they give for ear infections in little ones.

  • I just finished taking it and I am pregnant so I would think it was ok for you while breastfeeding.
