When did your child start walking?

I know the average and don't rush it and all that, just wondering when your kids started.

  • My son started walking at 11 1/2 months. I've heard that boys reach milestones a little later than girls.

  • My oldest... much later than we thought LOL. He was cruising by 7 1/2 months and we thought he'd be a super early walker. Ha! 13 1/2 months is when he starting walking alone! :-D

My daughter was 16 months ('bout time! I had my youngest son only a month later and it was getting hard to carry her around everywhere!!). She only started standing at furniture and cruising around 13 months.

My youngest son was 13 months. He cruised from about 10 months.

  • Truly wallking with no help or holding on to furniture, 13 months. Holding on I would say about 10 months old.
