Lego Birthday Ideas?

My son is turning 5 in May. I asked him what sort of party he wanted this year (last year it was Monster Jam), this year he said he wants a Lego Party.

So any of you creative, crafty mama's have any ideas that won't break the bank?

  • I'm sure you could make a cake that looks like a big lego (make a rectangle and 4 cupcakes..cut tops off cupcakes and put on the cake like a lego...make icing royal blue).

They make candy blox that you can actually build with. They are like a sweet tart. I gave you one website where you can see what they look like. You might try your stores to see if anyone in your area carry this candy. Or try Oriental Trading company or other websites. Sounds like a fun party!

  • You should go to hobby lobby and get big pieces of foam and cut out legos the can built with, buy those big tubs of them and put them in there goodie bags, man what a fun time i would have with this mama.. Think small, get const hats for them to where while they build...

  • Check out this website: http://www.birthdaypartyideas.com/html/lego.html There are 40 Lego birthday party submissions in there in detail-from parents who have done the same theme. I agree with the lego cake-use a 9x13 base and add 6 trimmed cupcakes on top. Simple and cheap!
