Starting on table foods?

My DD is almost 10 months old and i have never fed her any table foods. I want to start her on them, but i dont know what to feed her first. Any ideas on some easy to chew table foods to start off with? She has 5 teeth. Also, anyone want to throw in some tips on weaning off the bottle??

  • Teeth don't matter. She doesn't get her molars for a few months yet.

She can eat just about anything you do. Give her little pieces off your plate, dice them up and put them on a plate for her. She can gum it...even meat provided it's not the tough cuts.

But then, my boys were totally on table foods at 9 months.

  • veggies cooked down very tender are very good. Pasta cut up small also. My son only has front teeth and pretty much eats everything we do, just diced up or shredded if it's something tough.

  • She can pretty much eat whatever you are eating. Try one food at a time over a couple days to check for allergies, especially if they run in the family. Make sure meats and fish are cooked through and stay away from deli meats unless you heat them to 140 degrees.
