What would you do for a 4 month old grabbing her ears when she cries?

i think it is an ear infection. any home fixers?

  • If it really is an infection there are no home fixes. You need to take her to the doctor and get medication for her.

  • It certainly sounds like an ear infection. You can't cure it yourself, but you can treat the pain with tylenol. You will need your doctor to tell you the correct dosage based upon your baby's age and weight. You should take her to the doctor to have her ears looked at. Ear infections really make them miserable.

  • if she is grabbing her ear then crying, it could be an ear infection. My son grabs his ears when he's crying about something else, it's how he soothes himself. We've been to the doc several times and no sign of infection. Go ahead and take her to the doc. It will make you feel better anyway
