If your disabled child is getting SSI can he still get medicaid?

  • Medicaid is included with the benefits, from what I understand.

  • My son receives Medicaid because he is on SSI, it is one of the benefits.

  • crabbymomma is right, dont know why your case worker didnt get that going all ready or talk to you about it, just make sure you keep your rights as his / her guardian, dont let the state have it!

  • My daughter recieves Medicaid and she is on SSI. You will recieve FULL medicaid not just healthy kids or whatever it is. My daughter has been on straight medicaid for a couple years now due to the SSI.
