If I haven't breastfeed in 13 months,how come I'm still producing milk?

I just think its kind of funny that I can still squirt it out.

  • You haven't breastfed at all? Wow! I have no idea!

  • My DD is 26 months old, I nursed for 7 months and I still produce a little milk. I don't know why either, but we have no health insurance and I just can't afford to go to the doctor. It's not hurting me, so it's not priority. Good luck, hope someone can answer for the both of us.

  • My oldest was three before I stopped totally producing milk...I thought it was funny! I nursed him for three months, Who knows! Just a reminder of what your body is capable of doing! It will go away eventually (mine did when I became pregnant again)....
