Is anyone else a pessimist?

My sister told me I'm like the mother on Two and a Half Men...and it's true...lol

  • I am too. I act like I'm all optimistic, but deep down I know differently LOL!

  • lol yes I am... I can seriously get pretty negative about things real easily. I've been trying to do better, though. Hubby says it's not working though lol

  • I'm not, but my SO is a pessimist to the tee! If you look up the word pessimist in the dictionary, his picture is right there next to the definition. Drives me NUTS!

  • I always imagine the worst. That way I won't get surprised, upset, sad etc. about a negative result. And I will be overjoyed if something good happens. It is probably the wrong way to look at life, but I like to know the worst case scenario of things and then take it from there. To protect myself, I guess.

  • Yes. I know I am because even when I look on the bright side of things it's usually still something negative lol.

  • I pride myself on my pessimism. My husband says to look on the bright things, being the eternal optimist that he is. Usually my negativity prevails in situations.
