Foods to feed at night?

What food are better for my baby to eat a night?

  • While on formula, we didn't give food before bed. They just received 8-10oz of formula (bottle or sippy depending on their age).

    Once on milk and table foods, we gave them a few little crackers or something with a sippy of milk. Sometimes a bagel, some fruit...it varied.

  • I would try something like mashed avocados because they are high in good fats, and really nutritious. They are a great food for babies. I would avoid starchy cereals, and any foods that are acidic (like certian fruits, etc) because they might upset baby's tummy. I would also be sure and allow about 2hrs. before putting baby to sleep after feeding solids. Before bed, just give a nice warm bottle of formula or breastfeed.

  • before bed we use to give formula so the baby can have full stomach before bedtime and then

    give solids for dinner and small bottle of formula before bedtime.
