is it normal to still cramp while nursing even a month and a half after you had your baby?

the nurses at the hospital told me i may cramp and have my uterus contract while im breastfeeding especially and it is still doing it a month and a half later. is that normal?

  • Don't mean to sound pessimistic, i got cramps till she was 3months, but also had an mirena, so who knows if that was part of it, but if u drink ice water while u nurse it really helps, but it has to be like really cold water, idk y it works, but it does, also nurse laying down can help. Good Luck! it does get better! and then they get teeth, but thats not as bad as it sounds either.
