How to get rid of Insomnia?

I can't sleep usually any way, but I'm close to my due date and it's so much worse any ideas.

  • Try.....

No caffiene tomato products before bed. You can try snacking on some milk and/or crackers. They can help soothe you to sleep. Limit your liquid intake two hours before bedtime (when I was pregnant, I got up to pee every 2 hours...eeek!). Don't watch TV straight before going to bed and don't leave it on when you're trying to sleep. Remove any clocks from your view. Clock-watching always makes insomnia worse. Try taking a bath or having your SO give you a foot rub before bed. Do gentle exercise or light stretches an hour before bed.

If all else fails, Tylenol PM is safe to take during pregnancy.

  • I've tried EVERYTHING to make myself sleep better, but nothing worked except staying up late and taking Tylenol PM.
